Meet Our Pastor - Pastor Paul<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Pastor Paul was born in Columbus, Ohio, spending his early to elementary years in the Cleveland area and two years in Dayton. He moved to Saginaw, Michigan as an 8th grader, graduating from D.D. Eisenhower high school. He then attended Central Michigan University, graduating with a degree in Computer Science. He began work life as a programmer at a small engineering firm in Southfield Michigan for two years. Then worked at Ford Motor company as a programmer\/systems analyst until he went to Seminary.<\/p>\n

Pastor Paul grew up going to a Lutheran church. After beginning his work career in the Detroit area of Michigan, he missed the regular routine of worship on Sundays. His apartment-mate\u2019s pastor recommended a nearby family church, which happened to be a United Methodist Church (Clarenceville), where he began to worship in January of that year.<\/p>\n

After attending for about 9 months, he realized his relationship with God was distant at best and not very personal at all. On Labor Day that year, he asked Jesus to become the Lord of his life, along with renewing Jesus as Savior of his life, thus relinquishing control over his life. Over a series of years, he served in the church working with youth, singing in the choir, discipling others, serving on various church boards, and finally developing and leading a praise team.<\/p>\n

Pastor Paul and Lyn\u00e9t met in an adult Sunday School and eventually married in 1988. Over the next six years they had three children, a cat and a dog, two cars and a mortgage. During his time at Clarenceville God began to call him into full time ministry.<\/p>\n

Pastor Paul answered God\u2019s call and he and his family attended seminary at Asbury Theological Seminary in Kentucky. He has since served as pastor in three Michigan churches (Pickford UMC, Hartland UMC, Gaylord UMC, and Gaylord Global Methodist Church (after disaffiliation)). He now serves two churches in Wisconsin (Faith Community GMC in Greenville and Faith GMC in Neenah). Pastor Paul began serving here at Greenville\/Neenah in August of 2025. He has been married to Lyn\u00e9t (lynn-ay) for over 37 years and have three adult children, two who are now married.<\/i><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n
