Prevent Suicide Fox Cities

501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving Outagamie and Calumet Counties providing suicide prevention education and awareness, QPR (Question, Persuade and Refer) suicide intervention training free to the community, and grief support after suicide loss.
Support After Suicide Loss (SAS) individual support by appointment. Support group is held from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on the third Thursday of the month. We meet at 211 E. Franklin Street. All support groups are offered free of charge and led by two trained facilitators who are also survivors of suicide loss. RSVP is required for the Appleton support group.
NAMI Fox Valley
NAMI Fox Valley works to improve the quality of life of individuals living with mental illness and supports families through support groups, educational programs, advocacy, and crisis intervention training.
Iris Place
Iris Place provides peer-run respite as an alternative to an ER visit or inpatient hospitalization for adults experiencing emotional distress or crisis. Adults can stay up to 5 days.
Community for Hope
Nonprofit organization promoting suicide prevention, intervention, and grief support. Survivor of Suicide Loss (S.O.S.L.) support groups are offered for family members, friends, and coworkers of those who have died by suicide.
The Center for Suicide Awareness
Support groups for anyone who has lost a friend or loved one to suicide. Adult group meets the 2nd Monday of the month and youth group meets the 3rd Monday of the month. QPR Suicide Prevention Gatekeeper Training is also available for organizations and groups.

HOPELINE by the Center for Suicide Awareness is a text-in service that provides access to free, 24/7 emotional support and information through text communication.

United Wayβs Information and Referral Service
Find mental health services and resources serving Calumet, Fond du Lac, Green Lake, Manitowoc, Marquette, Outagamie, Sheboygan, Waushara, Waupaca, and Winnebago County residents. Information and Referral Service 2-1-1 is free and confidential, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Center for Grieving Children
The Center for Grieving Children offers an accepting environment where children, teens, and families in the Fox Valley can connect with others who are grieving the death of a loved one. Peer support and education are offered at no cost.
Wisconsin Al-Anon/Alateen
Provides community and support networks for families and friends of alcoholics and support for young people through Alateen.
Goodwill NCW LGBT Services
Provides leadership development and support groups for youth ages 14β18 who identify as gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, questioning, and allied.
Harbor House
Provides emergency shelter for battered women and their children, 24-hour helpline, counseling, advocacy, legal information, and support for survivors of abuse.
Sexual Assault Crisis Center β Fox Cities, Inc.
Provides confidential crisis services and 24/7 hotline support for survivors and their families. Services include individual advocacy, support groups, and assistance following assault or abuse.
