Women's Ministry

All women who are members of the Peace Lutheran congregation are included in our membership and are invited to join us at our meetings and share fellowship and ideas in our work of spreading the Gospel of Jesus!

PLCW is part of the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League—Lutheran Women in Mission.  (See www.lwml.org for more information.) Locally, we are in Zone 5 of the North Wisconsin District of the LWML.   

 Our meetings begin with dessert and fellowship on the first Monday of each month at 1:00 p.m.  We then have a devotion, recite the League Pledge, and conduct the business portion of the meeting.

We are a mission-minded organization that prayerfully and financially supports the sharing of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  We do that through our District and National LWML organizations and through human care organizations in our communities and around the world.  We currently support two seminary students and two organizations--Feed the Kidz and Warm the Children.

Funds to support these mission efforts come from offerings received at our meetings and from our Annual Spaghetti Dinner for the community each September.
